The Central US Micromineral Symposium (CUSMS) is held each year in early fall, alternating locations between Central Kentucky and Central Arkansas. This year, the 8th Annual CUSMS was held on September 3rd, 4th, and 5th , in the quaint little City of Danville, located in the heart of Central Kentucky.
Historically, this symposium has drawn enthusiastic micromounters from around the county including the States of California, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
Occassionally, we are even blessed with a visit from our friends and neighbors to the north, Canada.
Micromineral attendees receive safety instructions prior to a field trip.
